Parental Cell Lines
Membrane protein stable cell lines are widely used in many areas of biomedical research. Creative Biolabs can offer membrane protein stable cell lines to stablish in vitro models for High Throughput Screening.
Creative Biolabs offers high-quality, innovative tools to help research groups accelerate membrane protein drug discovery. They can be found by targets. If there is no product that meets your needs, please contact us.
Background of Parental Cell Lines
Cell lines have become increasingly substantial in the studies of physiology, pathology, and differentiation of specific cells. Parental cell lines are the main pluripotent stem cell lines, containing embryonic cell line and induced pluripotent stem cell line (iPSC), which are capable of infinite propagating and producing other types of cells. iPSC line comes from genetic reprogramming of germ stem cells or somatic cells, which bypasses the requirement for embryos and mitigates the risks of immune rejection.
Application of Parental Cell Lines
The embryonic cell line has been broadly applied in clinical drug discovery, models of genetic and chromosomal disorders, damage DNA repair, prediction of drug responses, metabolism, and toxicity. The potential clinical therapeutics of embryonic cell line include diabetes, heart-related diseases, cancer, and immune disorders. iPSC line can be derived from patients, which is the feature of interest to research on the cellular basis of human diseases. Gene-edited-iPSCs by CRISPR–Cas9 technology have been applied in a vast array of human genetic diseases, such as Down syndrome, generation of organs for transplantation, regeneration of organs and tissue repair, generation of erythrocytes, anti-aging, etc. In addition, the iPSC line is developed as therapeutics for heart diseases and wet age-related macular degeneration.
