Membrane Protein Lentivirus
Creative Biolabs-made lentivirus are enclosed viruses that enter cells by merging with membranes. In particular, the vesicular stomatitis virus's glycoproteins are found in the vector particles that make up our lentivirus (VSV-G). These virus particles are extremely useful for attacking a wide range of cell types due to their stability and wide host range provided by VSV-G pseudotyping.
Membrane Protein SleepyBeauty Systems
The DNA transposon known as Sleeping Beauty (SB) is a common member of the Tc1/mariner superfamily and has been used as a genome engineering tool in a variety of animals. It is frequently employed in ex vivo human gene therapy trials as well as forward genetic screenings because it gives up to 95% gene transfer efficiency in a variety of vertebrate cell types. The transposase protein, the engine of transposition, catalyzes all DNA cleavage and joining events necessary for transposition. Recently, in vitro transcribed (IVT) mRNA has attracted attention as a potential new therapeutic class for the delivery of genetic data. By structurally imitating natural mRNA, such synthetic mRNA can be designed to momentarily express proteins. With regard to managing the translational efficacy and immunogenicity of the IVTmRNA, in particular, improvements have been made that lay the groundwork for a wide range of prospective applications.
