UTS2R
UTS2R is a high affinity receptor for urotensin-2 and urotensin-2B. A G-protein that activates the phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger pathway is responsible for this receptor's function. The conditions phaeochromocytoma and rhabdomyosarcoma are linked to UTS2R. The downstream signaling of Class A and GPCR are among its linked pathways. G protein-coupled receptor activity and urotensin II receptor activity are two GO annotations associated with this gene.
