TRPC3
This gene encodes a membrane protein that has the ability to create a non-selective channel that is permeable to calcium and other cations. The receptor tyrosine kinase-activated phosphatidylinositol second messenger system and intracellular calcium store depletion both appear to drive the encoded protein to create channels.
