TACR3
This gene is a member of a group of genes known as tachykinin receptors. Variations in the sequence's 5' end define the receptor affinities. This class of receptors is distinguished by interactions with G proteins and seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains. The neurokinin 3 receptor, commonly known as neurokinin B, is encoded by this gene.
