TACR1
This gene is a member of the tachykinin receptor gene family. These tachykinin receptors have seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains and are distinguished by their interactions with G proteins. The tachykinin substance P receptor, also known as neurokinin 1 receptor, is encoded by this gene. Additionally, the encoded protein plays a role in the regulation of substance P's phosphatidylinositol metabolism.
