TAAR1
This gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that is triggered by trace amines. Dopamine, serotonin, epinephrine, and histamine have little to no effect on the encoded protein, but p-tyramine, octopamine, and tryptamine have a significant impact. Although this gene predominantly affects neurologic systems, there is evidence that it also affects blood cell and immunologic processes.
