RXRB
This gene encodes a nuclear receptor from the family of retinoid X receptors (RXR), which is involved in modulating the effects of retinoic acid (RA). Together with the retinoic acid, thyroid hormone, and vitamin D receptors, the encoded protein forms homodimers that enhance transcriptional activity on the corresponding response elements as well as DNA binding. This gene is located on chromosome 6 in the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II region.
