LPAR4
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the EDG family as well as the G protein-coupled receptor family. This protein promotes lysophosphatidic acid-evoked calcium mobilization and serves as a cellular receptor for lysophosphatidic acid. This receptor primarily binds with G(q/11) alpha proteins. Trachea adenoid cystic carcinoma and tracheal cancer are conditions linked to LPAR3. Actin nucleation by the ARP-WASP complex and GPCR downstream signaling are two of its related pathways.
