KCNK3

A potassium channel protein belonging to the superfamily that has two P domains that generate pores is encoded by this gene. The encoded protein is an extracellular acidification-inhibiting outwardly rectifying channel that is sensitive to alterations in extracellular pH. It is triggered by the anesthetics halothane and isoflurane and is additionally known as an acid-sensitive potassium channel.
