GPR34

Integral membrane proteins with seven putative transmembrane domains are known as G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), such as GPR34. By activating heterotrimeric G proteins, which in turn activate a number of effector proteins and ultimately cause a physiologic response, these proteins transmit signals to the interior of the cell.
