GPR26
A G protein-couple receptor protein is encoded by this gene. A wide family of membrane proteins known as G-protein-coupled receptors is involved in how cells react to hormones, neurotransmitters, and external stimuli. It's possible that the encoded protein contributes to neurodegenerative illnesses. This gene has been reported to be silenced epigenetically in gliomas.
