GPR183
This gene's expression was upregulated after primary B cells were infected with the Epstein-Barr virus, which allowed researchers to identify it. The most similar G protein-coupled receptor to the thrombin receptor is anticipated to be encoded by this gene. T-lymphocyte cell lines or peripheral blood T lymphocytes did not exhibit this gene's expression, whereas B-lymphocyte cell lines and lymphoid tissues did. This gene's purpose is not understood.
