DRD5
The D5 subtype of the dopamine receptor is encoded by this gene. Adenylyl cyclase is stimulated by the G-protein coupled receptor of the D5 subtype. Neurons in the limbic areas of the brain express this receptor. ADORA2B-mediated anti-inflammatory cytokine production and Development Ligand-independent activation of ESR1 and ESR2 are among its associated mechanisms. G protein-coupled receptor activity and G protein-coupled amine receptor activity are two Gene Ontology (GO) annotations connected to this gene.
