CYSLTR2
This encoded receptor is a member of the superfamily of G protein-coupled receptors. It has a significant impact on the cardiovascular and endocrine systems. A G-protein that triggers the phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger pathway mediates the reaction. The partial agonist BAY u9773 stimulates certain pulmonary vein contractions and may potentially indirectly contribute to the relaxation of the pulmonary vascular endothelium.
