CLEC4C
A member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily is encoded by this gene. Members of this family have a variety of roles in inflammation and immunological response, cell adhesion, cell-cell signaling, glycoprotein turnover, and other biological processes. They also have a common protein fold. The type 2 transmembrane protein expressed by this gene may be important for dendritic cell function.
