ABCC3
The ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily includes the protein that this gene encodes. Different substances are transported across extracellular and intracellular membranes by ABC proteins. The MRP subfamily, which is implicated in multi-drug resistance, includes this protein as a member. Although the precise function of this protein is unknown, it may be involved in the transport of organic anions that are excreted in the bile and the intestine.
