ABCC1
The ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily includes the protein that this gene encodes. Different substances are transported across extracellular and intracellular membranes by ABC proteins. The MRP subfamily, which is involved in multi-drug resistance, includes this complete transporter. As its substrates, oxidized glutamate, cysteinyl leukotrienes, and activated aflatoxin B1 perform the role of a multispecific organic anion transporter. Additionally, this protein transports bile salts, glucuronides, and sulfate conjugates of steroid hormones.
