Fig.1 LCK expression promotes colony formation in vitro and tumor growth in vivo.
Western blotting was used to evaluate the total protein expression and flow cytometry was used to analyze FLT3 surface expression. It is an appropriate model to investigate the effect of LCK on FLT3-ITD mediated biological events because FLT3 surface and total expression seems to be the same for both LCK and empty vector expressing cells.

Research Highlights
The various mechanisms that regulate Lck are thoroughly examined in this study, with an emphasis on how each process contributes to the maintenance of an acceptable level of Lck in each conformational state and, consequently, the efficient, suitable, and regulated amount of T cell activation that occurs after TCR stimulation.

Tyrosine kinase (Lck), a protein exclusive to lymphocytes, has become known as one of the important molecules controlling T-cell activities in recent years. Research with Lck-deficient T-cell lines or knockout animals has demonstrated that Lck controls T-cell development, TCR signaling initiation, and T-cell homeostasis.
