    Applications
At least 14 different classes of serotonin receptor subtypes are involved in the neuromodulatory effects of serotonin on brain function. An inhibitory neurotransmission is mediated by the G-protein coupled receptor HTR1B, which also controls the release of serotonin, dopamine, and acetylcholine in the brain. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), antisocial conduct, aggressive behavior, bipolar illness, anxiety/depression, schizophrenia, and substance misuse have all been linked to HTR1B, according to some research. It is also a frequent target for medicines used for therapy. The customized HTR1B stable cell line can be used in antibody discovery and development, potential drug candidate screening and signaling pathway researches.

    FAQ

    chat Paddy (Verified Customer)

How is the stability of the HTR1B protein ensured in the stable cell line? Jun 28 2023

chat Sherry Smith (Creative Biolabs Scientific Support)

The stability of the HTR1B protein is ensured through the use of specific cell culture conditions and the selection of cells that stably express the HTR1B protein. Jun 28 2023

    chat Sebastiane (Verified Customer)

How do I select the right host cell? Mar 18 2023

chat Sherry Smith (Creative Biolabs Scientific Support)

You'll need to take into account your research objectives. A more physiologically appropriate cell type may be the ideal choice to achieve more pertinent results if you are examining cellular metabolism or the effects of particular nutrients on cellular activities. Mar 18 2023
