TNFRSF17
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is mostly expressed in mature B lymphocytes and may have a role in the formation of B cells and the immune system's response. It has been demonstrated that this receptor specifically binds to TNFSF13B/TALL-1, a member of the tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily, activating NF-kappaB and MAPK8/JNK. This receptor can transmit signals for cell survival and growth by binding to different TRAF family members.
