HRH2
The G protein-coupled receptor family 1 includes the histamine receptor H2. It promotes stomach acid secretion and is a membrane protein. It is also hypothesized to play a role in controlling intestinal secretion and gastrointestinal motility, as well as controlling cell development and differentiation. Its associated mechanisms include parietal cell secretion of hydrochloric acid and Development Ligand-independent activation of ESR1 and ESR2. Histamine receptor activity and G protein-coupled receptor activity are two Gene Ontology (GO) annotations connected to this gene.
