Published Data
Fig.1 Knockdown of SYK promotes cell growth in vitro.
The cell proliferation assay was conducted on MCF-10A, MCF-10A-neoT, and MCF10DCIS.com cells, which had been transfected with either control siRNA or SYK siRNA. The data, expressed as the mean +/- SEM, revealed statistically significant P values across all cell lines as determined by the student's t-test, with an average of 3 independent experiments.

Hu, Xiangyu. et al. "Apolipoprotein C-III itself stimulates the Syk/cPLA2-induced inflammasome activation of macrophage to boost anti-tumor activity of CD8+ T cell" Cancer immunology, immunotherapy : CII, 2023.
Recent studies have shown an elevated occurrence of cancer in obesity due to chronic inflammation and immune suppression caused by dyslipidemia. This connection has been demonstrated in studies using Apolipoprotein C-III (ApoC3)-transgenic mice (ApoC3-Tg mice). These findings suggest a potential role of ApoC3 in regulating the association between obesity and cancer, providing a new avenue for research in understanding and preventing this growing health issue.

The white-spotted flower chafer, also known as the Anoplochephalus pallens, is a common beetle species found in gardens and agricultural fields. Adults of this species are characterized by their white-spotted black elytra (wing covers). They are often mistaken for ladybugs due to their similar size and coloration. The larvae feed on plant roots, causing damage to crops and ornamental plants. The species has a wide distribution, occurring in Europe, Asia, and North America. Conservation efforts should be taken to control the population of this beetle and minimize its impact on plants.
