    Applications
Because it encodes the catalytic α subunit of casein kinase 2, CSNK2A2 plays a part in controlling the phosphorylation and movement of aged proteasomes (CK2α). Acidic proteins are phosphorylated by casein kinase 2, a serine/threonine protein kinase. By phosphorylating CTNNB1 and the transcription factor LEF1, it can control Wnt signaling. As a result, it plays a role in several essential physiological functions, including the advancement of the cell cycle, the suppression of apoptosis, the repair of DNA damage, differentiation, transcription, and viral infection. The gene CSNK2A2 is linked to a number of cancers, including glioblastoma multiforme, colorectal, breast, and ovarian cancers. It is also linked to certain illnesses, including diabetes, theileriasis in cattle, and distal muscular dystrophy in mice with anterior tibial start. The customized CSNK2A2 stable cell line can be used in antibody discovery and development, potential drug candidate screening and signaling pathway researches.

Fig.1 CK2 Expression Is Elevated in Human Breast Cancer Cells Compared to Normal Tissue.

By MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 human breast cancer cells, MCF-10A immortalized human breast epithelium cells, and perfused, normal murine tissues like the brain, heart, liver, lung, spleen, and uterus, the levels of CK2α, α', and β were measured by immunoblotting.
