    EMR1/ADGRE1 is an orphan receptor that is a member of the group II adhesion G protein-coupled receptors (aGPCRs) epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like module-containing mucin-like hormone receptor (like) subfamily with seven transmembranes. EMR1, also known as F4/80, is a recently developed marker for myeloid cells in humans, including eosinophils and macrophages. EMR1 is a well-established pan-macrophage marker in mice. It can operate as a regulator of immune cell function and is inducible during monocyte-macrophage development from progenitors in the bone marrow. EMR1 has been employed in numerous studies as a TAM marker and as a prognostic biomarker in various malignancies. The customized ADGRE1 stable cell line can be employed in the signaling pathway researches, as well as the screening of potential therapeutic candidates.
