Product Description
TMR biocytin is a polar fixable tracer that is cell impermeable. It combines tetramethylrhodamine with an aldehyde-fixable primary amine called biotin (TAMRA). Polar tracers are commonly used to investigate cell-cell and cell-liposome fusion, membrane permeability, transport through gap junctions, and cell uptake during pinocytosis.
