XCaMP Sensor Tools

- Subcategory:
- Genetically Encoded Sensors
Current genetically encoded calcium indicators (GECIs) are limited in single action potential (AP) detection speed, combinatorial spectrum compatibility, and two-photon imaging depth. A next-generation quadricolor GECI suite called XCaMPs, which is made up of quick and sensitive GECIs appropriate for multispectral imaging, was rationally created by scientists. These characteristics of XCaMPs are consistent with recently established optical engineering approaches for the quick readout of neural network activity, and they most likely will work in concert with them. Rhodopsin-based optogenetic techniques with high spectrum separation may also work with XCaMPs. It is noteworthy that XCaMP-Gf has much better temporal constants, making it ideal for closed-loop optogenetic activation or inhibition control. Creative Biolabs provides unparalleled XCaMP-related tools to support your study, preclinical trials, and the development of membrane protein drugs.
