Product Description
Light-On 555 is a red fluorogenic lysosome dye with pH-dependent fluorescence. When exposed to UV stimulation, it activates fluorescence in cells. The dye exhibits pH-dependent fluorescence in solution that does not need UV activation. When exposed briefly to UV illumination from a mercury arc lamp through a DAPI filter in cells, the dye first exhibits mild fluorescence, but this is soon followed by strong red fluorescence that is localized to lysosomes.
