Product Overview
HPV 44 pseudovirus (PsV) is made up of the major capsid protein L1 and the minor capsid protein L2. This PsV product is produced in 293FT cells transfected with plasmid expressing L1 and L2 protein and plasmid containing the reporter (Secreted Alkaline Phosphatase (SEAP)) gene. The product can be used in HPV 44 neutralization assay; HPV 44 antibody or vaccine discovery and development; mimic HPV 44 virus-like particles. The pseudovirus product is for research use only.

1. Conduct 10-fold serial dilution of pseudovirus; add 100 uL diluted pseudovirus to each well of 96-well plate; and 6 repeats for each dilution;
2. Prepare 293FT suspension; add 3x10^4 cells to each well; and culture for 72 hours;

1. Though pseudovirus particles has no pathogenicity and cannot replicate, the assays should be carried out carefully in a Biosafety Level 2 or higher-level laboratory with a biosafety cabinet.
2. Serum samples from animals or humans should be inactivated in a water bath at 56°C for 30 min before being tested.
3. Please avoid freez/thaw cycles, which would influence the titer of the pseudovirus product.
